Everything in one place, where it belongs.
When someone is hospitalised, loses their independence or passes away, their family loses precious time searching: the doctor's name, the medication, the paperwork, what the person would have wanted. The Life Binder brings all of this together in one document, filled in at your own pace.
Please note: the binder itself is in French, and designed for a person living in France (French health insurance, pension funds, notaries…). It is ideal if your parent lives in France, even if you live abroad.
1What does it look like?

2What it contains
- Who I am: civil status, useful numbers
- My health: doctor, medication, allergies
- My useful contacts: family and professionals
- My trusted person and my advance directives
- Where my papers are: every important document
- My finances and insurance, with no codes at all
- My home and daily life: keys, pets, subscriptions
- My digital life: my accounts and my wishes
- My wishes: independence, funeral, messages
- The update log
The binder never contains passwords or bank codes: only where to find them. It does not replace a will or a notary: it helps your family find their way.

4Why fill it in together?
On your own, it is easy to put it off, or to get stuck on a section. In a session of about 2 hours, I ask the right questions and we fill in the binder together. For a video session, the binder is sent before the appointment. Sessions are held in French.
Above all, I spot what is missing: a trusted person who was never designated, advance directives still to be written, a document nobody can find. You receive a written summary of these points and how to deal with them, and I call back within 15 days. It is also a wonderful gift for a parent, whether you live nearby or abroad.

Is the binder legally binding?
No. It is an organisation tool. For property, only a will is legally valid; for medical care, designating a trusted person and writing advance directives have their own forms, which the binder helps you not to forget.
Where should the binder be kept?
Somewhere one or two trusted people know about. Many keep it next to their important papers, or give a copy to one of their children.
Can I give it to my parents?
Yes, it is one of the most common uses. You can give them a session to fill it in together, at their home or by video call. A bound version, ready to give, will be available soon.
Is my information safe?
The binder is a paper document that stays at home. During a session, I keep no copy of what you write in it.
